Tour of the Heinz History Museum (Cancelled)

If you’re in town on Sunday, join fellow Forum-goers for a tour of the Heinz History Center! Led by a museum docent, the tour will touch on exhibit highlights and Pittsburgh history. (Visit Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood for us!) The tour includes discounted museum acess for $11, which you can pay at the DLF Forum registration desk at the Westin before or after the tour (museum is within walking distance of the Westin). Tour of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh

Another option for Sunday afternoon is a tour of the public library’s main branch. The tour (which is free to attend!) will focus on the history of building and library. (Transportation there is on your own.) Sign up, and add it to your schedule!

Tour of the University of Pittsburgh University Library System

Directly following the Carnegie Library tour, take a short walk over to the University of Pittsburgh for a tour of the ULS (also free to attend)! Attendees will also get a tour of Pitt’s Cathedral of Learning / Nationality Classrooms as time permits. Sign up, and add it to your schedule!

Run/Walk with DLF

Up for some early morning exercise on the second day of the conference? Head out with the Westin’s Run Concierge for a beautiful 3-mile loop around downtown Pittsburgh and be back in time for breakfast sessions. Walkers are welcome to join on the route, as well (and can do the full three miles, or a shorter 2-mile loop). Sign up, then add it to your schedule!

Yoga with DLF

Feeling conference burn-out? Join us on the last day of the Forum for an hour-long morning yoga session, led by a Westin yoga instructor. Mats will be available for the first 18 people to sign up — or you can bring your own! We request a $5 contribution to help cover the cost of the instructor, which can be paid at the registration desk before or after the session. Sign up, then add it to your schedule!
